About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager with strong experience in medical device OEM engagement and manufacturing-led solution selling. This role is focused on building and expanding strategic accounts across plastics, consumables, and EMS offerings within the MedTech ecosystem.
You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams to drive customized client engagements and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Account Mining & Market Intelligence
Identify and penetrate target medical device OEMs across segments such as IVD, critical care, patient monitoring, and drug delivery
Map stakeholders across R&D, procurement, supply chain, and leadership teams
Track market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities
Drive cross-selling across plastics, consumables, accessories, and EMS services
Custom Presentations & Proposal Management
Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored client presentations
Lead end-to-end proposal development (RFPs, RFIs, commercial discussions)
Ensure alignment between technical feasibility and commercial viability
Support pricing strategy and contract negotiations
Sales Enablement & Client Engagement
Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools for targeted outreach
Design and execute outbound campaigns and pipeline generation initiatives
Develop strong value propositions and competitive positioning strategies
Strengthen account management to maximize revenue from existing clients
Events & Networking
Represent the company at MedTech conferences, exhibitions, and trade events
Drive structured event participation for lead generation and brand visibility
Build long-term relationships with OEMs and strategic partners
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Establish best practices for sales and pre-sales processes
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams
Drive a consultative, solution-oriented selling approach
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electronics, Polymer, Plastics, or related field)
MBA (Marketing/Business) preferred
8–10 years of experience in Medical Device sales, preferably in plastics, consumables, or EMS
Strong understanding of OEM procurement cycles and contract manufacturing models
Experience managing both technical and commercial aspects of the sales lifecycle
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and outreach tools
Strong stakeholder management across large enterprise accounts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
