Role Overview

The Finance & Strategy – GTM role will act as a strategic financial partner to Anthropic’s sales and go-to-market teams. The position focuses on financial modeling, revenue planning, deal desk analysis, and strategic insights that guide business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance Partnership

• Provide financial guidance to GTM teams on investment decisions and resource allocation

• Partner with sales leadership to align financial strategy with business goals

Financial Modeling & Analysis

• Build complex financial models to support revenue planning and growth initiatives

• Analyze financial and operational data to generate actionable insights

Revenue & Sales Planning

• Support revenue goal setting and sales capacity planning

• Evaluate GTM initiatives and strategic investments

Reporting & Forecasting

• Prepare financial forecasts, reports, and executive-level insights

• Highlight risks, opportunities, and trends to support decision-making

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with FP&A, accounting, and strategic finance teams

• Align GTM initiatives with broader financial strategies

Operational Metrics & Dashboards

• Build reporting dashboards and scorecards

• Track key financial and operational performance indicators

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, or GTM finance roles

• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities

• Experience communicating financial insights to non-finance stakeholders

• Ability to operate in fast-paced and high-growth environments

Preferred Profile

• Experience in GTM finance business partnering

• Background in private equity, venture capital, or growth equity

• Exposure to AI, ML, or complex consumption-based business models

• Experience with deal desk management and revenue operations
