Role Overview

The Senior Solution Architect, Digital & Technology (D&T), SAP Quality Management (QM), is responsible for translating business requirements across Quality and Operations into effective, compliant IT solutions. The role involves solution design, SAP configuration and enhancements, implementation delivery, and ongoing production support within a global enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable SAP QM capabilities aligned with business priorities, enterprise standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Quality and Operations stakeholders to understand business needs, assess issues, and translate requirements into detailed user stories and technical solutions.

• Apply SAP and ERP best practices to support solution design and strategic technology direction for Quality and related operational functions.

• Participate as a core member of Agile sprint teams, contributing to solution configuration, development, testing, and delivery.

• Deliver SAP QM functionality aligned with approved business requirements and user stories.

• Provide system maintenance, production support, and enhancements in accordance with ERP service delivery processes and company policies.

• Support compliance with applicable regulatory and control requirements, including FDA GMP and Sarbanes-Oxley, where relevant to the system and process.

• Create and maintain system lifecycle documentation, including SOPs, SOIs, job aids, and other required records.

• Participate in formal change-control processes and maintain appropriate documentation.

• Contribute to Lean and Six Sigma initiatives supporting quality, efficiency, and operational improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant discipline.

• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in SAP QM or related ERP solution delivery.

• At least 5 years of SAP Quality Management (QM) experience.

• At least 3 years of SAP S/4HANA experience.

• Experience delivering at least three full SAP QM implementations.

• Strong understanding of SAP QM functionality and its integration with related modules.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Working knowledge of SAP HANA.

• Understanding of related SAP modules, including Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Agile/Scrum or ITIL certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver in a high-pressure environment.

• Experience collaborating with teams across locations in a global organisation.

• Awareness of applicable SOPs, quality policies, safety requirements, and enterprise controls.
